More and more customers have been bringing up weddings at the market.
Some are getting married soon. Some are helping their daughters plan. Others are supporting a friend. But in each conversation, I’ve noticed something — everyone comes to us for a slightly different reason.
If Only I'd Known Then
One customer shared a story while standing at my table.
She had spent over ten thousand dollars on flowers for her own wedding. And now, she said, she has nothing left — nothing but photographs.
“If I had known something like this existed, I would have ordered from you.”
That stayed with me.

Exactly What I Pictured
A bride came to me just two days before her wedding.
She wasn’t happy with the flowers her florist had prepared. As she explained, it made sense. No matter how far in advance you book, what’s in season changes every year. The colors and shapes she had imagined simply weren’t available.
Our flowers are different. The colors, the varieties — everything can be decided in advance, exactly as she pictured.
That day, she chose each flower herself and built her own bouquet.
It Makes the Day Easier
Another customer shared something I hadn’t considered.
A wedding day is busy. There’s so much to manage, so much to keep track of. And on top of everything, fresh flowers need care to keep them from wilting.
So she ordered her bouquet and boutonnieres from us and had them delivered a week or two before the wedding. That way, on the day itself, flowers were one less thing to worry about.
It's Not Something That Gets Thrown Away
A customer ordering wedding favours shared a different perspective.
Most wedding favours are forgotten or thrown away after the day is over. But these are different, she said. Guests can take them home and keep them.
The memory of the wedding stays with them, in their own spaces.
What My Customers Have Taught Me
None of these reasons came from me.
They came from conversations at my table — while choosing flowers, placing orders, or simply talking about how overwhelming wedding planning can be.
For some, what matters is that it lasts.
For others, it’s being able to have exactly what they envisioned.
And for some, it’s simply having one less thing to worry about.
There’s no single way to prepare for a wedding.
If our flowers can make even a small part of it easier, that’s enough.
