It's one of the most common questions I receive, so I thought I'd put together a simple guide to help your wool felt flowers stay beautiful over time.
Think of It as Fabric
These flowers are made from a blend of wool and rayon felt.
The easiest way to understand the material is to think of it as fabric.
Because of the wool content, exposure to water may cause slight shrinkage. It's not a major concern, but depending on the type of flower, it's best to be a little mindful when using water.
Dust Care — Depending on the Flower
① Daisies, globe amaranths, cherry blossoms, lavender — unshaped flowers
A light mist of water, followed by a gentle shake, works well.
You can also use a small brush or duster to softly remove dust.
② Roses, peonies, tulips — shaped flowers
Water can loosen the formed petals, altering the shape and overall expression of the flower.
For these, it's best to avoid water.

Be Mindful of Sunlight
Prolonged exposure to strong direct sunlight may cause fading.
That said, there's no need for concern in everyday settings.
A bright indoor space is ideal — simply avoid placing them in direct sunlight for extended periods.
When Storing Your Flowers
When storing your flowers, place them in a plastic bag and keep them away from sunlight.
This helps preserve their shape and color over time.
If Your Peony Becomes Flattened
Occasionally, a peony may become slightly flattened during transport.
If this happens, cut a plastic water bottle and place the flower head-first into the opening.
Leave it for a few days, and it will gently return to its rounded shape.
One important note: make sure the bottle is completely dry before placing the flower inside.
Any moisture can loosen the formed petals.
