This tulip pattern was created thanks to a custom order. Getting the shape of the bud right took more tries than I expected, so I redrew the pattern several times until I was happy with it. Since tulips don't have a sepal, I spent a lot of time adjusting the curve and proportion of the petals to get that full, rounded look. Artificial stamens are added at the center to finish off the detail. After so many attempts, I hope this tulip brings a little joy to whoever receives it.
