Design Note
Marigolds carry a warmth that feels both familiar and lasting.
I wanted to capture that fullness — not just in shape, but in the way each petal comes together to form something complete.
Each layer adds to the whole, building a sense of depth while keeping the form soft and balanced.
Design Process
A marigold, defined by its gathered layers.
At the center, a stamen.
Then five petals, each shaped by hand into soft folds.
The process repeats, layer by layer.
Twenty petals in all —
each one gathered by hand before the flower is complete.
